Integrated Medical Services is seeking a Director of Quality and Population Health with substantial experience in the healthcare industry.  The Director of Quality and Population Health will provide leadership to implement quality programs and initiatives for IMS clinics. Leads clinical practice transformation processes to ensure clinic accreditation as required by payers and regulatory agencies. Ensures adherence to required standards to provide quality patient care, including data collection and reporting. Instill the IMS mission, vision and values in the work performed.

Essential Functions:

  • Provide leadership to any/all clinical quality committees in concert with the COO and physician leadership
  • Directly supervise, lead and develop all staff within the IMS Quality Department and provide direction to key operational staff with the clinic locations who are integral to achieving quality goals
  • Provides leadership for gathering, analyzing and reporting data from various sources for quality of patient care review, and oversees database entries and abstraction
  • Provides oversight of patient chart and record review to assess quality reporting data, gaps in care, and appropriateness of documentation
  • Lead measurement, assessment, and reporting of clinical quality improvement initiatives - including but not limited to MIPS reporting, episodes of care and other value-based contract projects and driving performance improvement
  • Design and implement short-term and long-term strategies to achieve the clinical quality goals of IMS, with collaboration of departments e.g. coding/billing and ISST
  • Collaborates with clinic managers and providers to establish clinic workflows to improve quality metrics
  • Works with payers to assess HEDIS measures achieved
  • Engage all electronic medical records software in place within IMS and lead efforts to improve these products to improve quality outcomes and achieve quality goals, especially concerning reporting
  • Other duties as assigned

Required Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree required within two years of experience  
  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse or Allied Health Professional preferred but not required
  • Experience in quality data metrics, data abstraction, analysis and reporting generally acquired by 5-7 years involvement of management of quality improvement initiative
  • Knowledge of accepted clinical practices and operations acquired through 3 years of clinical experience, or management of ambulatory clinic practice environment
  • Knowledge of assessment data, planning, and coordination of care that will impact the fiscal management of patients
